Class Description: In this class we will discuss techniques for turning embroideries into wearable or usable items. Examples include: turning an embroidery into a brooch or other accessory, appliqueing an embroidery onto an existing garment or bag, creating box lids, pincushions, or ornaments.
Equipment Needed: All materials are supplied; you may bring your own sewing kit if you like. If you have a specific piece that you are interested in finishing, you may bring it to class to discuss with the instructor. Please note, it is unlikely that you will have time during the class to start on that piece but we will provide you with advice so that you can feel comfortable finishing the piece when you leave the class.
