Design and work an embroidery you will be proud of. Our Stitch Retreats focus on further developing and enhancing your skills and knowledge. The Retreats are individualized to allow you to select a particular technique or combination of techniques in which to experiment and further build upon your own creativity, knowledge and technical skills. You will be guided through the entire process by our instructors.

You may request a portfolio review at the end of the retreat with an instructor, and you’ll be awarded a certificate of completion once you have finished your piece. It is our intention that in addition to gaining confidence and deeper skills, you will have a wonderful week doing what you love in a relaxed and fun environment.

Recommended previous experience includes multi-day course(s) through a distance learning program, guild, or embroidery school. A short questionnaire will be sent to you once you have registered so the instructor has a better idea of what kind of experience you are starting with and what you hope to accomplish over the retreat.

This retreat runs from April 3-7. Wednesday April 5th will be a “work on own” day which means the instructor will not be present and you will have the choice to either take the day off or work on your project on your own.


Payment: We accept PayPal and most major credit cards for class payments using the registration form above. If you would like to arrange an alternate method of payment, please email us.

Scholarship Seats: A limited number of Scholarship seats are available in most of our classes. We use an honor system on a self-identified basis for those who cannot afford the full price. If scholarship seats are offered in the class, they will be listed as one of the options under Register.

Refund Policy: Payment is due in full at the time of registration. If you need to cancel: Up until 3 days (72 hours) prior to the class, we will refund your tuition less a $25.00 processing fee. We do not offer refunds for classes cancelled with less than 3 day (72 hour) notice.  SFSNAD will make every attempt not to cancel any classes. If we need to cancel: You are entitled to either a full refund (no processing fee), or your tuition can be used for a future class of equal value within a year of the cancelled class.

Wait List: If the class is sold out, Please email us to be added to the wait list. We'll notify you right away if we have a cancellation.

Please note: on occasion it might be necessary to substitute the instructor.
