Annual Campaign 2022

Dear SNADers,

So far, 2022 has been a banner year for SFSNAD in so many ways - and we have much to celebrate. Our new space has welcomed new classes, new educators, new students, new exhibits and even a new baby!

As the story of SFSNAD keeps unfolding, blending new and different ideas into our well loved favorites, you remain the main character. You matter. It is with the help of our students, educators, supporters, fans, and now, members, that we are able to create the quality and variety of programming that we offer.

This year, our Annual Fund Campaign will tell the story of some of our new and exciting programs and projects. It will also give you some insight into how we keep ‘moving the needle forward’ in our trusted, long-term and permanent programs.
I hope that you continue to see the value of SFSNAD in your life - we sure see your value in ours - and that you will consider donating to our Annual Fund. Here’s to the never-ending story of SFSNAD, and to writing it together!

$50 will help maintain SFSNAD’s Collection and research Library - ensuring the preservation of historic needlework, tools and ephemera.

$500 will help support our new program, “Stitching for Wellness”, designed for students to be introduced to stitching as an alternative tool for relaxation and self-expression.

$100 will help us to bring interesting and unique exhibitions that supplement our Courses, Classes and Workshops.

$250 will help support our Webinar Lecture Series and help to sustain and expand SFSNAD’s global outlook.

All artwork has a story, some of it narrative, some of it practical. The SFSNAD story is the same. The lyrical, narrative part is what you encounter when you visit and take a class, see an exhibit or listen to a webinar. It is the story you learn from our books and our collection pieces. The practical part is behind the scenes where we balance bank accounts, run excel spreadsheets and pay bills. It is also the part where we raise money to help pay for all those beautiful and lyrical things we all love about SFSNAD.
